Friends. Food. Photography.
There's no better combination of things that I can think of. Friends provide the setting, food provides the occasion, and photography is there to capture the moment. 
Those of us living here in Southern Louisiana are frequently surrounded by the former two, but I find there is a saddening lack of the latter. Wonderful moments are guaranteed to pass, but a photograph can be eternal. We pass them from generation to generation - along with their stories - reliving our favorite moments and sharing them with loved ones. 
It is my hope to keep this art alive. To help others capture the moments in their lives that really matter to them. To immortalize instances of beauty. To memorialize the things that we, as humans, care deeply about. And, hopefully, to preserve a few of my own.
